Flexible family housing project capable of adapting to seasonal use and accommodating four different family units, parents and three daughters, who share spaces but enjoy their own private areas. The location, in an almond orchard that has belonged to the family for almost a century, is the key to the establishment in the place. Following the logic of the terraces, the house is located on the edge of the terrace, a little elevated, just enough to look over the treetops of the lower terrace towards a landmark of the region, the Castle of Castalla. From the entrance, it appears as a country house on one floor, traditional and humble, where the common areas and the parents’ private space are housed. Instead, the change of scale occurs on the lower terrace where the rest of the building cascades to accommodate the most private and intimate spaces of each daughter.
